The mission of The Franklin Montessori
School is to provide both creative and stimulating intellectual,
artistic, and developmental experiences for the pre-school
and kindergarten child. We strive to cultivate each child's natural
desire to learn and to foster his/her natural curiosity and love
of knowledge.
The Montessori classroom is comprised of six interrelated areas:
Practical Life, Sensorial,
Language, Math,
Social Studies, and Science.
A full range of cultural experiences including drama, music, poetry,
cooking, art, storytelling, and field trips complement the daily
routine.
The Franklin Montessori School strives to instill in each child
a sense of acceptance and understanding through our diverse learning
environment.
The school is non-denominational and does not discriminate on the
basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation,
or disability in the admission of students, employment of faculty,
or administration of policies. |
